Introduction
1Job, reproving the uncharitable spirit of Bildad,
5acknowledges the power of God to be infinite and unsearchable.

How hast thou helped him that is without power? how savest thou the arm that hath no strength?

Bildad had produced no argument to refute Job's doctrine; and therefore Job ironically admires the assistance which Bildad had given to his friends in their extremity, and the instruction he had afforded him in his perplexity.
