(ad oh ray' ihm) Place name meaning, “double strength.” City located at modern Durah, six miles southwest of Hebron. Rehoboam fortified the city and placed troops and supplies there as part of a massive defense building program (2 Chronicles 11:9 ). See Rehoboam .
