A rare wood Solomon imported from Lebanon for the Temple (2 Chronicles 2:8 ). The exact type of wood is not known. 1 Kings 10:11-12 refers to almug wood imported from Ophir (compare 2 Chronicles 9:10-11 ). The rare wood was used for gateways and for musical instruments.
