Resource Toolbox
(sshih nay' zahr) Babylonian personal name meaning, “Sin (a god) protects” or “may Sin protect.” Son of King Jehoiachin (1 Chronicles 3:18 ). He is often identified with Sheshbazzar as an alternate transliteration of a Babylonian name, but this has been denied recently.
