wēk ( שׁבע , shebhua‛ , from שׁבע , shebha‛ , "seven"; σάββατον-τα , sábbaton - ta , "from sabbath to sabbath"): The seven-day division of time common to the Hebrews and Babylonians ( Genesis 29:27 , Genesis 29:28 ; Luke 18:12 ).
