Talmudic scholar of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries author of "Mar' eh Meḳ om ha-Dinim" (Cracow, 1647), an alphabetical index to the Shulḥ an ' Aruk. Fü rst ("Bibl. Jud." 2:369) records that he was known also as "Phoebus," and says he died at Amsterdam in 1652 and was praised by David de Barrios.
