1. indecl., six, Il. 5.270, al.: dat. pl. ἑξάσιν OGI 200.28 (Axum); ϝέξ Tab.Heracl. 2.34, al., GDI 1267.27 (Pamphyl.), 4968 (Gortyn): ἓκ ποδῶν is written in IG 12.372.175; cf. ἕκπους.

2. ἕξ, τό, the six in ἀστράγαλοι used as dice, = Κῷον, Ruf. Oss. 38. (Cf. Skt. [snull ]á[tnull ]. Avest. xšvaš, Lat. sex, Welsh chwech, etc.)

PSI IV. 320.12 (A.D. 18) ἀρούρας ἕξ. The adv. ἑξάκις is found in one of the wall scribblings on the royal graves at Thebes, Preisigke 1838 Θεόφιλος Κλεοβού [λου ] εξάκις. MGr ἕξι, ἕξε.
